ABOUT YOUR TEACHER
For more than a decade, Sheherazad Barnes has walked the path of sound, spirit, and transformation. From her early years as a DJ to her life’s calling as a sound priestess, healer, and teacher, Shehera has devoted herself to exploring the mysteries of vibration, energy, and consciousness.
She is the founder of Anahata Holistic Healing and a mentor for the Sound Healers Academy, guiding hundreds of practitioners into their purpose. Her work blends ancient wisdom with modern practice, rooted in over 10+ years of professional sound healing and a lifetime of spiritual study.
Shehera holds multiple certifications in Sound Healing, Yoga, Reiki, Seichem, Pranic Healing, Breathwork, and Meditation. Her initiatory path has been shaped by the lineages of Egypt, the Rose Priestess tradition, and the great mother goddesses of history. She has shared her teachings across international retreats, trainings, corporate settings, and sacred gatherings, always in service to raising collective frequency and empowering others to embody their gifts.
As a mentor and teacher, Shehera is known for her authenticity, generosity, and depth of presence. She has a gift for helping students unlock their voice, embody their medicine, and step into leadership with confidence and integrity.
Her vision is clear: to activate a new generation of healers and spiritual leaders who will uplift the planet through vibration, devotion, and heart-centered service.

My path has always been guided by a deep devotion to awakening the divine within ourselves. Long before I stepped into the role of teacher, I was a seeker, following the subtle currents of intuition that led me into sound, energy work, sacred lineage, and the mysteries of the feminine. The journey unfolded through music, ceremony, temple initiations, and the ancient lands that shaped my remembrance.
Over the years, sound, spirit, and lineage have become the language through which I serve. These practices have opened my heart, expanded my consciousness, and revealed the profound truth that healing happens through presence, devotion, and alignment with something far greater than ourselves.
AHH Academy is the culmination of this path. A home for everything I have learned, integrated, and lived. A home for those who feel the call to rise in service.
